Campaigning for Adena Springs, her sire Ghostzapper compiled a record of 9-0-1 in 11 starts with earnings of more than $3.44 million. He was a six-time stakes-winner and recorded the fastest time in the history of the Breeders’ Cup Classic – 1:59.02 for 1 1/4 miles under 124 pounds – breaking the record previously held by Skip Away. He also posted the highest Beyer Speed Figure ever recorded around two turns – 128. Ghostzsapper is the broodmare sire of Triple Crown winner Justify and Eclipse Award winner Drefong.
